On our first big overlanding adventure of 2024 we decided to go South to Spring. Winter in Idaho had been lackluster, barely any snow or freezing temps to make winter activities viable. Spring was still a long way off so we decided to instead go South, to Spring. In this episode of South to Spring we were looking for a spot to escape a big windstorm in California, and our escape from the storm ended up being our favorite destination of the entire trip, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. We spent three days hiking, driving scenic loops and taking in spectacular sunsets while enjoying the miraculously green Sonoran desert. We hope you enjoy episode five of South to Spring.

We hit the Maze and Window Loops one day and Black Rock Canyon, Warren Peak and the Panorama Loop on day two. We hope you enjoy episode four of South to Spring.

In this episode we are back out in the Mojave Desert around Barstow California looking for rock art and being amazed by the geology of the area. We hope you enjoy episode three of South to Spring.
